These terms cover your use of the Gamepad Checker website (gamepadchecker.app) and the Gamepad Checker Android app. By using either one you accept them. They are short on purpose.
Short version: the app and the website are free diagnostic tools. They tell you what your controller is reporting. They cannot repair a controller, and what you do with the result is your decision.
Gamepad Checker is provided free of charge for personal use. You may use it to test as many controllers as you like, for yourself or as part of a repair or resale business. There is no account, no licence key and nothing to buy.
Gamepad Checker is a diagnostic tool. It reads and displays the input your controller reports to your device — button presses, stick positions, trigger values and vibration motor response — and shows you that data live.
It does not:
Results depend on your device, its operating system, how the controller is connected and how well that controller is supported by Android. A pad that reports oddly here may work perfectly in a game, and the reverse is also possible.
Before you rely on a result: if you are returning hardware, claiming a warranty, or deciding whether to buy a used controller, treat what you see here as one piece of evidence rather than a verdict. We are not responsible for a purchase, a return, a repair or a warranty claim made on the basis of a test result.
The Android app is supported by advertising supplied by Google AdMob. Ads are what keep the app free. Interfering with the delivery of those ads, or modifying the app to remove them, is not permitted. What data advertising involves is described in our Privacy Policy.

The app, the website, their design and their code belong to us. The names of controllers and consoles referred to — PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, 8BitDo and others — are trademarks of their respective owners, used only to describe compatibility. Gamepad Checker is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
Gamepad Checker is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every controller or device.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of Gamepad Checker — including damage to a controller or device, lost data, a rejected warranty claim, or a purchase or sale decision made on the basis of a test result. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
We may change, suspend or discontinue the website or the app, or any part of either, at any time and without notice. If these terms change, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, and any dispute relating to them will be subject to the courts of Morocco. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
